How to play
Hold your phone upright
Your phone shows the whole floor with the buttons under it: ◀ ▶ walk, ▲ ▼ climb a ladder when you’re lined up with it, and A jumps.
Jump the logs
The drop bear rolls gum logs down the girders, and some come down the ladders. Jump over them: each one takes 0.1 s off your time. Watch for the sparks from the barbie, too.
Grab the cricket bat
Jump into a cricket bat and you swing it for 8 seconds, smashing logs and sparks. You can’t climb or jump while you swing.
Bonus items and bonks
Thongs, sunnies and a beach umbrella take 0.5 s off each. Get hit and you’re dizzy for a moment, then back to the start of the floor (in Kids’ mode, back one girder).
Four floors
The Ground Floor, the Pie Factory (conveyor belts of meat pies), the Hoists (ride up, step off) and the Roof (pull every bolt). The Full climb is all four in a row.
How to win
The best time, with time off for logs jumped and bonus items, wins the race.
Host options
- One floor (or a random one) or the Full climb of all four; one race, Best of 3 or lap after lap (faster each lap); how long the rest have once someone is home; Kids’ mode.
