Arnold: Two fleets, Red against Blue. Your ships are on your phone: drag one to move it, tap it to turn it, and they can’t touch. Then tap Ready.

Lily: Then everyone aims at once! Tap a square on the enemy’s ocean, then FIRE. Your team gets one shot for every ship it still has.

Arnold: Watch the TV! A splash is a miss, and a kaboom is a hit. Hit squares keep burning, so you know where to try next.

Lily: Hit every square of a ship and it sinks, and you earn a special shot, like a sonar ping or an air strike. The last fleet afloat wins Torpedo Time!

How to play

  1. 1. Hide your fleet

Your ships start in random spots. Drag one to move it, tap it to turn it. Ships can’t touch, not even at the corners. Then tap Ready.

  2. 2. Everyone aims at once

Your team gets one shot for every ship it still has, shared out. Tap a square on the enemy’s ocean, then FIRE. Teammates’ picks show faintly.

  3. 3. Splash or kaboom

Watch the TV: a splash is a miss, a kaboom is a hit. Hit squares keep burning, so you know where to try next.

  4. 4. Sink them all

Hit every square of a ship and it sinks. Lose a ship and you lose a shot. The last fleet afloat wins!

How to win

Sink their whole fleet to win: everyone on that side wins the full points.

Lose every ship and your fleet is sunk. The game goes on until one fleet is left.
