Set up the TV
The TV is the stage: it shows the game, the questions and the scores. Any screen with a web browser will do.
Which TVs work?
- A smart TV with a web browser. Open gameshows.online/tv in its browser.
- An Android TV (or a TV box running Android TV) with the Game Shows ONLINE TV app.
- Any TV with an HDMI port, with a laptop plugged in. Open gameshows.online/tv on the laptop and make it full screen.
- A projector or a computer monitor works the same way as a laptop on a TV.
Link the TV to your account (once)

Open it on the TV
Open the TV app, or gameshows.online/tv in the TV's browser. The TV shows a code and a QR code.

On your phone, open Put the TV on
Sign in on your phone and choose Put the TV on from your dashboard.

Scan or type the code
Scan the TV's QR code with your phone, or type the code it shows.

Done
The TV now shows your party, and it opens your party by itself every time it's turned on.
Or use your own TV address
Put the TV on also gives you a TV address of your own. Open it on any TV or laptop and it shows your party, with nothing to sign in. Bookmark it on the TV.
If the address ever gets shared somewhere it shouldn't, make a new one: the old one stops working straight away.
Sign a TV out
Your dashboard lists your TVs under My TVs. Sign one out there and it goes back to showing a sign-in code.
